Introducing Our New Policy Officer Aneta Zielinski

We’re delighted to introduce our new Policy Officer Aneta Zielinski! 

Aneta joins OHAA with more than 23 years’ experience in oral health practice, education, governance, and sector advocacy. A University of Queensland graduate, she has worked across rural and metro clinics, special needs dentistry, aged care, and specialist periodontal and prosthodontic settings. 

A dedicated contributor to workforce development, Aneta has mentored practitioners, lectured, delivered CPD programs, and written for professional publications. Her background also includes research involvement, FDI advisory work, and leading public‑health initiatives such as a smoking cessation protocol at UQ. 

She has held significant leadership roles, including Past Chair and Secretary of the DHAA (Queensland), advisor to the DHAA COVID-19 Taskforce, and Past Secretary and Treasurer of the Australian Society of Periodontology (Queensland). Passionate about accessible oral health and strong workforce pathways, Aneta is committed to raising the profile of oral health practitioners and strengthening policy that supports high‑quality, interdisciplinary care across Australia.
